Naše ministrstvo za zunanje zadeve hrani seznam držav, kamor se zaradi varnostnih razlogov odsvetujejo vsa potovanja. Na seznam se trenutno uvršča devet držav, 5 v Afriki in 4 na Bližnjem vzhodu. Ker nisva nikakršna strokovnjaka na političnem področju in sploh, ker nisva niti približno dovolj samozavestna, da bi mislila, da veva bolje kot znalci na mzz, v seznam ne dvomiva. Demokratično republiko Kongo sicer naše zunanje ministrstvo ne uvršča na seznam najnevarnejših držav na svetu, vseeno pa se obisk Demokratičnega Konga že nekaj let odsvetuje. V prvi vrsti zato, ker je država pogosto prizorišče raznih političnih trenj in uporov, poleg tega pa je v zadnjem času Kongo večkrat prizadela epidemija ebole.
