From Los Angeles, we took a bus to Sin City, the gambling capital of the world, the beautiful, joyful city famous for its many casinos, fancy hotels, resorts and restaurants, outstanding entertainment and nightlife, the one and only – Las Vegas. 🙂
Our two-day Las Vegas honeymoon itinerary (things to see and things to do)
DAY 1
After settling in the Circus Circus hotel (which is with its huge casino – as well as almost any other hotel in Las Vegas an attraction in itself) we headed to the tallest building in Vegas – the Stratosphere Tower. In addition to thrill rides and a romantic observation deck, where you can enjoy the amazing view of the neon-lit city, they also offer sky jumping – a leap from 829 feet (almost 253m), which makes it the highest controlled descent on Earth. We did it and it was awesome! 😀 After this thrilling experience, we went past our hotel and continued down the Las Vegas Strip. We walked by the Mirage, the Venetian, Caesars Palace, Paris Las Vegas, the Eiffel Tower restaurant and finally reached the Bellagio, where we saw a breathtaking water, music and light show – a definite must-do while in Vegas. Later on, we took a bus to Fremont East district, known for the huge (1500 feet/457m long, 90 feet/27m wide) video screen canopy above the pedestrian mall, where they put up amazing light shows every hour between 7 PM and midnight or 1 AM. Had we known the schedule back then, we wouldn’t have been late. 🙂
DAY 2
After a nice long night sleep, we went to the hotel pool and enjoyed the hot Vegas sun. After the dusk, we dressed up, went to see an acrobatic show, next we went to a bar, where we had a few drinks, then we went to see another show – this time of a more sensual kind and finally wound up at a casino. And as for the rest of the night… Well, you know what they say – what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. 😉
♥ Top romantic experience
It may not be famous for being the most romantic place on Earth, but Vegas actually isn’t very far from earning the title either. In addition to many excellent restaurants, shows, spa retreats, and, of course, the world-renowned fountains of Bellagio, the city offers two of the most romantic attractions in the world – the Eiffel Tower (replica) and gondola rides at the Venetian. How amazing is that?! And if the experience suddenly gets too romantic, you can always get hitched (by none other than Elvis, for example) in one of Vegas’ many wedding chapels. 😉
♥ Top adventure
There are tons of crazy adventures awaiting in this crazy city. As if a ‘traditional’ night spent in Sin City isn’t adventurous enough, they offer everything from skydiving, zip lining, hot air ballooning, skiing and snowboarding near Mount Charleston (yes, in the middle of the desert!), race driving, Stratosphere thrill rides, extreme RZR or Buggy tours through the desert, horseback riding through the desert, to golfing, cycling and hiking. From personal experience, we can assure you that the Stratosphere sky jumping truly is awesome. 😉

Sounds like another great adventure. I agree that anyone going to Vegas must go to the top of the Stratosphere and to the “Eiffel Tower”. I particularly like the water/music show as well at the Bellagio. That is really an amazing sight. I love the city really and sounds like you do too 🙂 Thanks for sharing this wonderful adventure you and your husband shared. I love reading about it!
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your thoughts with us. 🙂
